Request representative files and calibration documentation for the proposed lens/sensor combination. Validate the workflow with the mapping team.

A sensor catalog describes hardware; a procurement brief should describe the decision its data must support. The distinction prevents purchasing a technically impressive but unsuitable device.
Keep camera calibration with the installed configuration
Changing the camera mount, lens or associated workflow may change which calibration records are relevant. The purchasing file should identify the complete configuration.
